Hi I have a 11 G8 EE Bios that need unlocking, but I am a little unsure of my current situation, so I dumped bios and tried to modify it myself, after I write modified bios back in it unsurprisingly didn't boot. However, even if I write back the original dump it would not boot. Any help is greatly appreciated, attached the original dump I made.

if it doesn't boot with your own dump file it means your dump is corrupted. That's why is recommended to read chipset 2-3 times and compare between them to see they are identical. Anyway, try this.

1) how to enter bios?
2) How to enable developer mode?

You can't "enter bios"
You have videos on youtube how to enter developer mode but only after you write new bios - developer mode is blocked in your current bios.

2) Restored using a ChromeOS flash drive
3) connected to the Internet
4) the device is blocked, I cannot enter the bios and turn on the developer mode.
I wanted to enable booting from a USB flash drive and install Windows

if I flash a modified bios, and then the device is blocked again, do I need to flash the bios again?

Hi guys, does anyone have bios bin file for a hp chromebook 11a-na0502sa please?? I bought it from eBay In a joblot if faulty laptops, but it's got an enrollment lock on it and I have contacted the place who it was locked too and they won't remove it from their enrollment register, as the Karen who replied said they had scrapped the item?? Right, yeah, and I bought it as scrap, but its now working, belongs to me now, and is of no use to you anymore, so why won't you remove it?? Its a joke it really is, so selfish, if a can't have it, no one can attitude! But yeah I'm going to try re-writing the bios if I can get a bios bin for it, that won't enrollment it back to their establishment?? Thx in advance for any help you guys can provide

you have to remove the battery in order to disable write protect. There are a lot of movies on youtube how to do it but you are to lazy to think a little bit ... and is for free!

you have to read your bios chipset and post the dump here and we'll help you to unenroll. Once bios is modified it won't be enrolled again to their domain, you will be able to use it with your gmail account. Also post serial number, as in rules of this forum.

OK thank you for your fast response, I really appreciate your help 😉 I was quite perplexed with the old owners reply, as thought it was really selfish tbh. Anyway I've never created a dump before, but I have read and saved copies if bios files before re-writing, so I'm guessing it's the same process! Thx again and I'll get on it now! 😉👍

hi again, thanks again i really appreciate your help! god i hate these smd bios chips, what a farce, unsoldering them and re soldering them to the programmer board, but i got the in the end! anyway here is the bios dump and the serial number is 5CD110P9PG that's the serial number on the back of the chromebook! i had to compress the file with winrar, as it would not accept the bin file otherwise, so if there are any issues please let me know, im new to all this!
