Good for you. Before that, make sure your factory dump is properly read, use verification. Read the chip several times and compare the contents.

When flashing a BIOS always make a backup first. Take 2 or 3 different dumps and make sure they are identical.
On Windows, you can use the command "fc /b" to check if two dumps are identical.
Make sure that the dumps looks good, i.e. not filled with 0x00 or 0xFF. After compression, if the file has a size of only a few kilobytes, the EEPROM was most likely not read properly.

You did not understand me correctly. I meant the factory (ie original) dump.
Read the chip with your factory dump several times, and compare the contents. To make sure you have a reliable backup first.

Edit: I don't understand why you are in such a hurry.
Read carefully what I replied to you and then proceed with the patching of the dump.

I have Lenovo T480 with absolute enabled on the bios. I flashed with the patched bios it boots up but will stuck forever at entering setup and can't get to bios.
Can anyone help me with this issue?

You have Absolute enabled in the bios, but not bios password, or you have both enabled?

In this case flash back your original dump, power up the laptop then enter the bios and set supervisor password, restart, power off, dump the bios chip again and then patch the dump. Follow the "how to use the patch" steps.
After that you can be able to disable Absolute.
