                          Hi everyone,
Could someone fix my BIOS .bin file problem? The problem I'm having is that I replaced the motherboard in my HP ProBook x360 11 G1 EE with a new one. Since I'm a newbie and still learning, I did it wrong. I left out several pieces of information, such as the feature byte and the build id. The motherboard is no longer in programming mode, and I can't do anything. I've tried software like HP DMI NBDmiFit, but no matter how many videos I've watched and read here on your forum, I haven't been able to get it to work. It doesn't detect the flash drive in fat32, as some programs request, and the BIOS is EFI, and I don't know. I would need help from someone who could give me a link to see the steps in detail because, no matter how much I've tried, I haven't been able to.
The problem is that the PC turns on and displays two errors on the screen related to missing data and that the motherboard is incorrectly programmed. Then you continue and the PC boots normally and perfectly. I can even enter the PC's BIOS and see the missing data (screenshot attached). The problem is that I would need to go back to programming mode and enter the missing data so that it doesn't show errors at startup. The full details are as follows:
                          Serial Number: 5CG82606KT
                          Product Number: 1LT66ES
                          Description: HP ProBook x360 11 G1 EE
                          Build ID: 16WWAUDT601#SABE#DABE
                          Feature Byte: 3X476J6Z6b7B7H7M7R7W7s9AaBaQapaqauawbVbhcAd6dUdWdpdqgd.rT
                          Motherboard CT: PGHFD00WB8702B
                          Motherboard revision: autoboot 6050a2881001-mb-a02
                          BIOS chip: Winbond W25Q64FW (64Mbit / 8MB)
Clean ME region: ✅ (I still don't fully understand this, but I think I need to clean the region based on what I've read in so many posts)
If anyone can help me, I'd appreciate it. I've attached the .bin file.
                          Best regards.

use BCU (BiosConfigurationUtility) under cmd. Just google "BiosConfigurationUtility" and you'll find it. After install open cmd as Admin, goto folder where is installed and use cmd line: "biosconfigutility /get:1.txt". Open 1.txt file with text editor, fill blank fields with your DMI, save as 2.txt in BCU folder (save it in Docs then move it to BCU) then use cmd line: biosconfigutility /set:2.txt

I forgot to mention that I have also used that BCU option, I have read the manual so many times and tried to do it under cmd as administrator but it always gave me an error, that I could not write the data when doing the set..xxx, I tried under administrator and running cmd normally but nothing, without success, thanks anyway for mentioning it, I think the only option would be under some software like NBDmiFit but I can never unlock the motherboard and put it back into programming mode, I think HP has some kind of lock internally for that and it is difficult to unlock it, I even think after so many tests that I have done that the only option is flashing, prepare a . bin from mine and put my data in the correct place and flash again ... let's see if someone else can shed light on us,
Thanks a lot for commenting volinakis, let's see if someone can help us ...

If BCU fails, use manual method, restart counter until it reaches 0

Hi hoaca388, thanks for responding. Could you tell me what you mean by the manual method and resetting the counter to zero? I know I've tried several tests and methods, but I can't quite figure out what you're referring to. Could you be more specific, since I'm still learning from you? I'm a bit of a novice and still need a little more precision in the steps.
                                  Thanks.

When you flash the unlock file is DMI lost ? You have to add DMI again by : using BCU or you will see a counter, restart it until it reaches 0 then do the required steps.

You have to forgive me but I don't understand exactly what you're telling me hoaca388, what I've tried with the BCU program under windows is once you configure the "bcuconfig....get..." (I don't remember exactly how to write it) it generates a file where all the bios data appears in . txt format, well I see that in that file both the feature byte and the build id are blank and the MTM is in *lock mode, from what I've read you should put the missing data in their correct places and then do the "bcuconfig....set", but it gives me an error because it tells me that the MTM is in *lock mode, well, I've tried to only change the . txt file read from the bios info in MTM from lock to *unlock to see if the mode is unlocked and you can program it again (I've done it by putting the data that I was missing and even just by changing MTM to *unlock) and it always gives me an error and doesn't let me do anything or enter the data or change to *unlock mode, in cmd it always gives me an error both in admin and normal mode and there is no way I can do anything, that's why I come to you...
