I used this dump (1.27) and it works for me but I noticed that 1.34 bios is available on Lenovo site for L380 yoga. Is there anybody who has 1.34 clean me BIOS for this model? my SN: R90VQWRQ

If its working ok update it with Lenovo System Update or use the standalone update https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles/r0ruj27w.exe L380 Yoga (type 20M7, 20M8) Laptops (ThinkPad) - Type 20M7

I used this cleared BIOS for my bricked Lenovo L380 M5 (after a shutdown during a BIOS upgrade I was stuck with error code melody 0285) and it worked like a charm.
just replaced the Windows Key with the help of this tutourial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlaSuu9mdI4

BTW: I used a CH341A with clamp (no modification from 5 to 3.3V) 15EUR from ama, and read/programmed the W25Q128BV

Hi,

Another L380 here giving a musical error tone which translates to the 0285 error code (TCG compliant functionality related error) and suggesting a replacement board.

Serial number is R9-0SPN0Q.

Can someone help with a BIOS repair please?

post the contents of the bios chip even if it is corrupted..
