bios extracted from the update on the HP website, the laptop has two versions of the bios, yours is 08497.

After restart black screen with fan on maximum,need to remove bios battery and than turns on normally with same warning ''Product information not valid''. Is there any solution,Thanks.

i have a laptop HP Envy x360 (15-cp0012AU) Board Effie_rr_mb 17890-2
i turns on with orange charging light but not charging the battery i changed the battery with the new one nothing happened
after about 1 minute the backlight dissapears but the laptop is still on so i have to turn it off and on again to have picture then it happens everytime.
is there any solution?
is it possible the firmware of ES or the Bios?

the bios from post #4 is virgin, use the HxD program (it's free on the internet), enter both bios into the program (your laptop and the virgin one),
select that interval mentioned in both bios, copy the interval in your bios and pass it to the virgin bios (copy - paste)....and that's it...

This is what HP says, you can't just try different versions if the BIOS was updated to latest (your backup is F.05), I'm attaching both F.05 and F.08 (latest)
NOTE: Due to the security updates installed by this BIOS update, previous BIOS versions cannot be reinstalled after this BIOS update is run.

Try F.05 first
