(which you don't have) I would read the original BIOS chip three times and compare the contents to see if everything matches. Patch the original BIOS with the autopatcher and then restore the original BIOS. Forget about the chewed chip.

Can someone help me? I programmed and checked the patched dump. Battery, HDD and BIOS battery disconnected.
When you plug in the power supply, the power button flashes 3 times. After switching on, the power LED lights up,
goes off and comes on again after 5 seconds. That's it. No LCD, nothing? What can I do?

I wrote the dump on the chip. The device behaves exactly as before. Since I am not here for the next 4 days I will keep the NB on all the time to see if the state has changed. Unfortunately, with the CH314, I can't program on the board. Some component on the PCB pulls away so much power that I just can't get the dump clean on the chip. That means I have to get the chip out and in every time I try. And because an accident rarely comes on its own, the pad of Pin 5 has dissolved itself from the PCB. I'm gonna have to figure something out on the next solder. I hope the notebook wakes up again.

I tried the patch and the procedure only worked for one time only, I cant remember the exact and all of the steps I did being several weeks ago but after I flashed with the patched bin, upon reboot I went through the steps as per the instructions and entered a random password, when I rebooted it was the same having to enter a password, I then re-flashed with the original bin as per the instructions but now the laptop only powers the LED for a second before switching off, I have re-flashed with the original backup bin but still no life. I have also replaced the Bios chip and done the same procedure but still the same, I have to push the rest button on the motherboard to get at least the LED to come on, after powering on once with the LED illuminated for 1-2 seconds the second time its dead. When ever I flash the chip always says success but still no further, what can be causing the issue if it successfully flashed...? How do I overcome this problem when a new Bios chip has been installed and flashed with the original non-patched backed-up Bios....?
Can anybody help...? Much appreciated
