I accidently made changes to bios and now I see black screen with nothing happening, I tried Blind reset, or removing bateery for days, nothing works, kindly help -
Couple of Windows 11 machines have come in this week with the same issue. After you login, the taskbar will not appear (or just be a black bar). No access to Start Menu. Task Manager (use CTL+SHIFT+ESC) works, however the Performance stats seem stuck with CPU on 100% for Task Manager itself. Trying to exit Task Manager result in it hanging as well. No issue if you boot into Safe Mode.
First machine, tried many things to no avail (System Restore from last Windows update, rebooting in Diag mode, trying to reinstall Windows Apps via Powershell). In the end, I did an in-place upgrade... -
I was attempting to replace the LED lights on an Edge-lit Samsung UN55NU7100...While removing the sheets and the light diffuser plate which already had cracks at the bottom. The plate bent(more than I'd like) and broken in half.
1) Is it still usable if I can put in back into place
2) or Do I have to find a replacement diffuser plate and can it be any diffuser plate from a 55" Samsung LED TV or specific to my model?
3) can a new plate be purchased from Samsung? -
My childhood best friend was killed about 9 years ago. His parents are finally letting go of his things, and they offered me his Polk RTi100 tower speakers.
