HP Pavillion 15-au185sa bios & EC

The original bios was corrupt and did nothing when flashed. I got the bid 08213 and downloaded the bios from the HP website. I flashed it and I get the white light on charger and fan spin but black display - caps lock key 5 flashes and 3 quick flashes . I tried numerous other bios nothing works. This motherboard is with a integrated GPU - anyone has a dump I can use? I may also need to reprogram the EC, if anyone has a dump of this?

motherboard is DAG34AMB6D0 rev D, can I still use these?

tried the 08213f48, fans go high for a 1 minute then normal. Still no display but the flashing caps lock has gone. Is it worth trying the other bios? Do I need to program the EC or is it autoflashing?

BID08213 is the right bios. I`m not sure on this board if the ITE EC does autoflash .If you have a programmer make a backup and compare it with the 08213F48 EC ,if its the same its autoflashed from the bios

Just tried the others as I had 30 mins spare:

BID08209 SKYLAKE U fans normal. No display ,flashing capslock

BID0820D SKYLAKE H fan spins for a 1-2 seconds then stops, power button flashing

BID0825F SKYLAKE H fan spins for a 1-2 seconds then stops, power button flashing

BID08294 SKYLAKE H fan spins for a 1-2 seconds then stops, power button flashing

BID08213 KABYLAKE U fan high for 1 minute then normal. No display no flashing capslock

BID08217 KABYLAKE H fan spins for a 1-2 seconds then stops, power button flashing

I'll reflash the BID08213 and update this thread once i get my Vertyanov programmer (hopefully next week)!

Out of interest - on EC autoflashing boards, do they do this everytime the bios has changed/on every boot or only when you have a new/blank EC?

BID08213 KABYLAKE U is the right bios (and EC) for the 15-au185sa.Take a look at the products Product Specs page,it has an i5-7200U Kaby Lake CPU.https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c05323554 .

I got the programmer this afternoon and had a quick play. Unfortunately I don't have a second USB cable apparantly used for grounding so just used a piece of wire to ground it. I only got it to read once, but the EC is near enough the same as yours. When I have some more time and a second cable I'll try and flash yours and see what happens. Do you think this looking like a integrated graphics issue?
