I'm very sorry for the inconvenience, but unfortunately I couldn't enter the response code in time.
My Toshiba tablet-laptop suddenly overheated and froze on the password screen. I was unable to type anything, as it became completely unresponsive.
I've since carefully disassembled the device to prevent this from happening again and it's now running much more stable.

This time, my device behaved differently than before. After I entered the code, it didn’t display any message or error sound. Instead, it simply rebooted on its own — but unfortunately, the BIOS password was still there afterward.

I just wanted to let you know that the code actually worked!

It seems that after entering the code, the key was to press F2 as the device began rebooting. Once I did that, I was able to access the BIOS, and the password was successfully cleared.
