    I unplugged the screen cable, now it displays externally, so it was the screen that was the problem, sorry, thank you for your help

    Thanks but Same result, backlight turns on ok but no display, keyboard doesn't respond and no external display either, faulty SIO chip?

    back to the chip...write DMI in the bios first...
    the bios from post above is virgin, use the HxD program (it's free on the internet), enter both bios into the program (your laptop and the virgin one),
    select that interval mentioned in both bios, copy the interval in your bios and pass it to the virgin bios (copy - paste)....and that's it...

    Help please. Unit has no display. All voltages are present on each coils. But when connected to external monitor, it seems that the backlight of the monitor responds but still no display. I have already tried bios recovery thru usb stick with the bin file downloaded from official HP website, but no response . No capslock code either. Please help to fix my original dump attached. Thank you in advance.
