    Hi, I tried the 080DX bios but the PC does the same, the fan starts but the screen is black even with an external monitor, I think it's the I3 processor with integrated video card.

    Here's your New BIOS, it's a Virgin BIOS from HP with your DMI and Windows Key. I think it could fix your Password Problem.

    Maybe the chip was damaged before you got the 1.8V adapter .What part number is on the chip

    If you have a black PCB, it is very likely that it needs to be modified for 3V operation instead of 5V. Failing to do so could damage the ROM IC.

    Hi,

    thats doesnt work, chip is only recognized without the 1,8v adapter.

    when i flas (windows or linux) everithings gone fine but same error on the laptop
    any idees.

    i have buy a new programmer with the adapter for 1,8v.

    The end of the file is different because your bios is corrupt, or the programmer didn`t read it properly.
    The posted bios should be working ok.
