Does anyone have a bios update file of packard bell easynote Me35? I go to the supported site i cannont find this model please help,laptop always showing system configuration data read errror. i will try to update the bios

Run the exe on windows to make a bios update CD ,if you have a blank disk. ftp://ftp.download.packardbell.com/N...35_BIOS10D.exe .Then boot from the CD.

Alternatively, flash the bios.bin with a bios programmer .

Hi there,

could someone please post the BIOS Update tool? The FTP site of Packard Bell seems to be down meanwhile and I cannot find the updater somewhere in the net.

my antivirus protection gives me an alarm for that file:
Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml

Is it from a secure ressource? I know that bios programmer tools are often recognized as viruses.

Thank`s a lot! Tool worked but BIOS was up to date. Max RAM for this model seem to be 3 GB DDR3 as I wondered why installed 4 GB wasn`t recognized by the BIOS..
