Thank`s a lot! Tool worked but BIOS was up to date. Max RAM for this model seem to be 3 GB DDR3 as I wondered why installed 4 GB wasn`t recognized by the BIOS..

my antivirus protection gives me an alarm for that file:
Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml
Is it from a secure ressource? I know that bios programmer tools are often recognized as viruses.Leave a comment:

could someone please post the BIOS Update tool? The FTP site of Packard Bell seems to be down meanwhile and I cannot find the updater somewhere in the net.
