Hi not tested yet due bocken bios chip when triying to unsold it from the motherboard. I m waiting for new one to come and I will report, many thanks again.

I have an other question about the way you did torebuild the bios from hp bios download?

Go to HP website, write your serial number, choose the bios version and download it.
Extract the bin file from the downloaded .exe (the exported file will not be a complete bios image, it's called a bios region), replace the old Bios region with the new one using any Hex Editor tool and clean the ME region.
Also you will need to move your DMI and Windows key from the original file to the new one.

Hi all,

I have an 820 G3 (6050A2892301 MB A01), doesn´t boot and i notice that orange battery led chargement is on, even without battery in and when is shutdown...i already tried to reprogram bios chip with some files from this forum but i had no luck..any ideas?

Here is the original backup, if anyone could help me i appreciate.

If you have a second SPI chip, upload it here if the main bios doesn't work.

I forgot to explain that i tried with your file and same result...

Wireless and charging leds orange (even without battery in), power white led and fan spinning, no boot.

I told you above .. you have the board model and on the top right the search button... put the board model in the search column.. and give it a search.,.. choose from there the bios that you think is ok..
