Try these,updated and cleaned the ME.Flash both the 4MB and 1MB, just flashing the 4MB wll not work.

Flashed both 4M + 1M ec, just the same result.

When powered on, the 3 lights on the panel blinking, no fan spinning, no boot and it took about 0.6A.

If we just let it be......it will try restarting itself 2 or times with the same result 3 lights blink.

After a while the current will be 1.2A and it will restarting once again and it boot up!.....display comes up.

This happen on both the default bios it came with and the clear me bios provided.

But it tooks 5 or more minutes just to display anything.

Try another charger rated at 4.22A or more and change RAM , also try booting from a linux live CD/flash drive with no hard drive attatched.

I am using a service power supply capable of 10A. Using toshiba charger 4.7A was just the same. No hdd attached nor the dvd.

It tooks more than 5 minutes just to shows the Fujitsu logo...damn.
Just like the old engine had the long time to start-up

It seems like a ME issue. Try this new bios with a different ME version,it might give it a kick. If its still slow to boot, try running FPT Flash Programming tool from the command line and enter: fpt -greset

That will force the ME to accept the new changes, if you entered the command correctly the laptop should reboot, hopefully a bit quicker.

Tried flash both 1M and second clean me bios but still no changes,

then I made myself a clean me bios using the first image from user, flashed it again and now it becomes better 2 minutes......curious about that i update it again using the bios update from fujitsu site, flash the ec 1mb (wrong moves ) and it boot up fast,,,it comes up with error something related to:

microcode not updated for the booting processor
microcode not updated for the second alternate processor
bla...bla

so i guess it must be a mismatch between ec and bios, so i just repeat the whole updating from fujitsu site again and it's sorted out.

Now tooks 4 seconds to boot instead of 5 minutes.
