Need SMC.bin HP Elitebook 840 G1.

Greetings Everyone.

I bought an EliteBook 840 G1 in January this Year With Windows 10 Pro Pre-Installed. Last Night I wanted to reinstall windows due to Corruption. I wanted to set Boot Devices in the BIOS before that But There was a Password there. HP Sparekey was not set, and even Intel ME had a password on it.. ... Is there anyway to remove that password Or Reset through SMC.BIN. Can anyone Help here Please. As HP Support Needs Documentations and ID proof.

P.S. I don't want to Rip off the BIOS Chip and do Manual Flushing. As I don't know anything about circuitry and electronics. Please Help

@rdtox, i dont think password can be removed without flashing main bios on this model. Not 100% sure though.

Hey bro

After many searches and researches I have come to know that it is actually possible. But Only HP Support can do that. They ask for some specs numbers and send you an SMC.BIN file along with instructions on how to install the SMC.BIN file. That is the reason I asked the BadCaps community to help me out on this matter

@rdtox, i dont think password can be removed without flashing main bios on this model. Not 100% sure though.

No body make SMC.BIN file without hp support Have many guys sell SMC.BIN I dont no how but he sell 20$ USD...
If you need SMC.BIN but paid i will send guys address he support you.

iF you need remove password backup bios file and post here.Go near repairing lab maybe he fix...

Hi. I have found elitebook in a very good condition on local skip. When had tried to launch it appeared having windows 7 enterprise installed. I unfortunately have no idea about any passwords. I have installation dvd disc with windows 10 pro, which is genuine and would like to install. When pressing f10 entering bios this comes with Bios administrator password. How can i remove this?
Please advise.
