With the patched dump, the laptop shows a black screen and plays a melody sound that translates to code 0285 (TPM issue or so). I also tried to clean the ME Region as well and same result with code 0285.
BIOS dump version is 2021 - could it be the issue?
Attached is the original dump. If I put back the original dump, it turns on fine but with SVP pass.
Hello,
I'm not sure if my request fits this topic or should i create a new one.
Anyway, I have a Lenovo T520 with Computrace enabled.
I tested a few things and came to the conclusion that Computrace enable/disable bit is located in 24rf08 IC. I read my ic and downloaded another dump with computrace disabled from the internet copied my serial number to that dump and flashed my ic.
Computrace was gone, but now I have a 0189 RFID error each time I boot the laptop up, so flashed back to my original dump and everything went back to normal.
I wonder if anyone knows in which address of the dump computrace enable/disable bit is stored ?.
In the attachment I posted a dump from my laptop with computrace enabled.

@TTR
You can use the 24rf08 eeprom dump you found and change CompuTrace setting to the different options, on each change then read 24rf08 eeprom again and you will know what's the offset where the setting is stored.
