Can't even power machine up. Not sure what's going on.
EDIT: putting original back on to confirm I can power it up again - which it was doing before I patched it. Perhaps this machine is not meant to be unlocked. I might have to let it go.
It can be done, I am sure. I am just new to unlocking newer Lenovos so I might not have correct files yet. I have tested only on 4 different model right now (T440s, T450, X1 carbon gen 2 and X260).
Maybe I needed to add that fingerprint driver aswell. I will send you another file later.

Okay, sounds like a plan. Use the same password on the file I'll certainly give it a go, just putting original back on to confirm it boots. It should, reckon the patched bios was causing a problem.
It's going to take a number of attempts I am sure. I've done it 3 times and all I got was the 5 beeps repeated so even my own attempts didn't quite work.

Looks like the file I sent before should work..
*Remove all batteries (main battery and RTC battery).
*Patch the bios and make sure to verify it so there aren't any errors when writing.
*Hold down the small switch on motherboard
*Connect charger (laptop should start automatically)
*Wait. It might even take minutes and laptop will beep/restart a few times.
If it still doesn't work then sorry, I don't know how to help any further.
