Thanks. This is what I had tried myself at first and my edit matched yours but the macbook wouldn't show a display. Had fan spin but nothing happened. Peste left the "SVS" with a small bit after in which worked. Just wondering what that part is.

Soory yes you are right Peste left some more in his unlock bios.

Only he can explain why that to you himself, he is a far more experienced user than I am.

I myself only know it from Youtube videos that from $SVS everything is filled with FF.

Maybe he'll tell.
