Sincerement je n ai pas la taille.j ai fait une mauvaise manupilation en enlevant mon BIOS qui s est explosé.j ai eu un autre BIOS WINBON sur une autre plaquette HP DV 6.Donc je cherche à programmer ce WINBON avec le bios de ma carte mere

Honestly, I do not have the size. I made a bad manipulation by removing my BIOS which exploded. I had another WINBON BIOS on another HP DV 6 board. So I am trying to program this WINBON with the bios of my motherboard

Thank you Dycc. Please Dycc, can reprogramming the BIOS be the solution to a machine that does not detect a good hard disk even in SETUP?

normally from the diagram you must first check that the hard disk is powered (5v 3v) and on the sata data transmission port there is no short circuit or faulty component (non-polarized link capacitor) . If after the tests it turns out that everything I have just listed above has no problem, replacing the chipset remains the alternative to solving this problem.It is also possible (in the case where the player CD works, and you do not have an infrared soldering station) to redirect the sata port of the hard disk to that of the CD player.
