The bios chip is not supported by my SP8-A programmer. It's winbond 25Q64FWSIG, it only support FV model... i tried to select FV then make backup but i'm not sure if it's a good backup. I haven't yet tried to reflash the bios chip. My backup is 8mb. And i only found 1 bios chip on this board.
Thanks... but i'm afraid that it might end up a no display or a dead unit... BTW, the main problem with this unit is that it won't boot anymore on internal hdd and any usb drive. It can detect the main hdd as seen on bios setup. And any changes being made on bios setup and upon restarting it always goes back to default. And even the internal hdd had an OS installed like windows 7 or 8 it always show No Bootable Device Detected....

its 1.8v chip. u need 1.8v adapter to program this chip else you will end up with no display only. If you dont have a 1.8v adapter then there is a way out to program this type of chip. See attached photo-it will be clear to you.
