    Acer Aspire E1-510 bios

    hi please need help ; how can i flash this bios , i have juste minipro tl866cs programmer , don't know how to flash this kbc & this progammer don't detecte the chip 25q64fw

      Of course you can manually enter the chip model like our friend polytek posts but if it can not properly read the chip id and read the bios from the chip then you should clean the pins with alcohol and check if connection of pins with tl866cs adaptor are secure (you can use continuity test with multimeter). If it is still not recognized, then probably problem with chip and you should try another chip.

        I was just struggling with this, and i think that the minipro tl866cs programmer does not support working on low voltage (1.8v) SPI EEPROMs like this one in the Aspire E1-510.

        PS: Wach Habibou, Ca Va Kho ?

            Just download minipro v6.50 you will read the chip

              Yes we can read the chip and sometimes we can flash it without error but the chip can be damaged.

              Our problem is to flash EC... I think that's necessary one specific programmer for ENE ...

              Someone Have it ?
