Hi,
I'd need the BIOS for EliteBook 8570p,
MB: CASPER-DIS_CR_HPB MV_MB_V1
P/N: 010172M00-575-G
Charge Light nonstop switches from white to amber, not coming on at all, no shorts on the mainboard. I assume it's a BIOS issue.

I have an HP 8470p where I forgot the password for the bios. I have a Dediprog SPI SF600Plus and the clip for the bios. Unfortunately, the connector from the clip to the SF600 Plus does not fit.

the bios chip must be detached from the motherboard, do not use the clip you will have errors..mount the bios chip in the adapter and the adapter in the programmer..watch this video and adapt it to the programmer you have ..

Hi,
I have an "HP EliteBook 840 G6" and would like to know how to dump the BIOS flash chip without desoldering. Putting 3.3V on VCC of the BIOS chip with a programmer does not work (seems to enable the PCH). I have read some general notes about connecting the CPU reset to ground or to bypass oscillators. There does not seem to be a reset line for Intel i5-8365U. Just RSMRST, but it's only accessible on the other side of the mainboard. Is there an easy way to dump the flash without desoldering and without removing the mainboard? Does anyone have experience with this? Maybe...01-04-2025, 04:11 PM -
