    Packard Bell LJ61 Bios password

    hi guys. have here a packard bell LJ61 and when it's switched on ask straight away for password.
    Any ideas how to get rid of it ?

    dissemble and take cmos battery out for a 10 min
    that should be it

      thanks . sorted.
      dissasembly the laptop, desolder cmos battery, peel the sticker under ram slot , short the 2 pins in there, boot the laptop and that's it.
      after that solder back bios battery and put the laptop together.

        Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

        Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

        I have a Gigabyte G5 KE laptop and I have forgotten the BIOS Admin password. I can enter BIOS menu but when trying to enter BIOS settings it ask for my password which I have forgotten.
