Hello,
I need help with an HP EliteBook 840 G8 BIOS repair.
During the removal process, I accidentally lost the original BIOS chip, and unfortunately I don't have a backup of the original dump.
I found a clean 32 MB BIOS file from another HP laptop with the same motherboard model, but now I need to insert my laptop-specific information (DMI data) into this clean BIOS image before flashing it.
The information I need to restore includes:
Can someone guide me on how to manually locate and edit the DMI region (NVRAM region) inside the BIOS dump, or confirm the correct offsets for this model?
Thank you.
