For those that have worked through the 7290 BIOS in the past, do you happen to know if there is a switch in it to enable a touchscreen entry in the BIOS setup?
The 7290, 7390, and 7490 all use the same BIOS, and the 7390 has an FHD touchscreen as one of its' options. It turns out it can be installed in a 7290 BUT since the BIOS doesn't have the entry to turn it on, it just becomes an FHD upgrade to the 7290.
I was hoping if any of you that had worked on the BIOS in the past would know if either the touchscreen settings could be turned on in the 7290, or the BIOS could be convinced that a 7290 is a 7390. Since they share the same motherboard, the screen works on both, and the 7290 DOES have the touchscreen socket for the cable. I have a 7390 touchscreen installed on a 7290, would LOVE to get the touchscreen working.
