Gs66 10sfs bios issue

I tried to update bios with ch341 and normally all is good.

now it says that buffer size is not equal to ic size.

I downloaded bios and ec from msi website.


Laptop model - GS66-10sfs
mobo model - MS-16V11 ver 1.0
Programmer used: ch341
ec chip - Mxic mx 25l12872f
bios chip - winbond 25q16jvnic

Tried ch341 programmer software and other softwares. I can read and write but buffer size is not the same as chip. Looms lije file is larger than chip can handle. Maybe need to trim file

your bios is longer...the one on the site is ok...try it...see how you write it...

I updated already to msi site bios but thats where it said that buffer size not equal to ic

only thing i need to check in boardview is that bios chip is winbond not mxic
