          Editing a comment
post merged..next time look for a thread with the name and model, motherboard model of the laptop, and post there, if you can't find it, then make a new thread..

              Hi everyone!

I have a 2018 MacBook Pro (with Sequoia OS) that I've been using for years with no problem. I recently received an M2 MacBook Pro so I'm mostly using it and not the 2018 one, but since a friend of mine needs a computer, I thought I could restore my 2018 and give it brand-new-like to my friend.

I tried using the built-in tool to restore the MacBook (Settings > General > Transfer or restore > Delete) but it got stuck when trying to remove the Find Device configuration (it asked me for the password for my old Apple ID -now I use the same account but...

Apple MacBook Air A1932 EMC 3184
              by mferna14
I am working on Apple MacBook Air A1932 EMC 3184., NO DISPLAY. I observe in the background the logic board seems to be running, the voltages are ok & the board is taking the required AMPs through the AMP meter connected to it's Original power adapter. I am assuming that this BIOS has to be re-build. I am attaching the ORIGINAL BIOS Bin files taken off the logic board, can anyone rectify & re-build this BIN file. The files on this thread "https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=104860" does not seem to be correct as the BIN files size for this model is 1024KB where as my...

Apple 076-00236 Genuine Apple Data Migration Tool for MacBook Pro 2016 2017
              by samstown
              Hello,

This special tool from Apple is used to recover data from Macbook A1706. I've been using it for a while but it stops working. When connecting Thunderbolt 3 between the tool and working Macbook, Macbook should prompt "new device detected, allow or not"... but it doesn't.

Has anyone ever experience this ? It's not a cabling or power supply issue, some IC have stopped working but not sure which one. Probably the one that manager thunderbolt 3

              Thanks
              Claude...
