    HP 455R G6 Bios password

    hello,
    i ve an 455r g6 notebook and an ch programmer.
    which options do i have to unlock the bios, reset the password?

    can i do it on my own?

      When requesting a repair / bios supply you need to post: model, serial number / service tag number, bios backup (even if it is corrupted), description of the error.​

          sorry for that.
          After I tried to read the flash in the installed state, I desoldered it to read it out.

          Here we go:
          Chip: 25B127DSIG
          HP Probook 455R G6
          6UK72ES#ABD
          5CD9924T8R

          I attached the flash files as bin and hex

                  Hello,

                  I'm using TONGFANG "GM7TG7P" model laptop for over 3 years and i'm entering the same bios administrator password everyday. My laptop has Aptio BIOS (American Megatrends, AMI).

                  But today it's not accepting my password. I'm %100 sure i'm entering the correct password.

                  I'm trying to reset my bios without success.

                  I tried :

                  -I removed the BIOS battery and main battery. Waited for a long time but it didn't work. They already stated in the user manual that the password will not be reset even if the batteries...

                  My pc updated bios through Windows Update and I was greeted with BLACK SCREEN WITH CPU FAN MAX SPEED. I don't think there is even a screen signal, because it triggers my monitor for a couple seconds and then the monitor turns off. I tried the other outputs as well.
                  1. I tried clearing bios, resetting bios, removed the CMOS battery, removed m.2 ssd, wifi, and ram. Still black screen with CPU fan blasting.
                  2. I tried using the Lenovo BIOS CD and BIOS USB, but neither worked. At least I couldn't get anything to work.
                  3. I could only locate two chips that look like bios chips. Could someone verify this

                  Hello everyone, I come here to tell you my problem regarding the power-on password. It is not a bios reset demand, and i can't have any access to windows. This is the bios and power-on password that is blocking all other things.

                  My Omen 15-dh0052nf purchased second-hand was configured with the bios password upon purchase (very simple password :P ).

                  Having decided to sell it in order to get something more powerful, I reset all BIOS settings and set a blank administrator password. But the power-on password cannot be changed to a blank one so I let the actual password set....
