This laptop had a hard fall I was told. I'm not able to read the serial number.
I would get 3 white lights at the power button when plugged in and then off, but still an orange charge light(most of the time).
PLC501 gets hot, into the 60s C. It has 1.24v PRC307 is the next hot thing around 40c and PUC301 get's a bit warmer than the other 4 PUs next to it
PLC301 has resistance to ground of .55ohms but i'm not experienced enough to know if this is normal for such gpus? Voltage on these coils is .75v
Otherwise i wasn't able to find anything else getting warm even when injecting .7v in the circuits i mentioned.
One of the ram slot clasps was desoldered from the board which led me to look at the slot pins and some were also loose. I tried resoldering both slots, but behavior was the same afterwards.
After I noticed pads that looked lke something was broken off at D2601 so i added a diode. After that It would give a solid white power button led, spin fans for a number of seconds, pch and gpu would get warmer than before, but then it never progresses. I've never seen the cpu get warm.
Can anyone help me figure this out?
I'm attaching two bios dumps in case anyone is able to check them. Thanks.
