                      Thanks. I see the error is due to graphics card error. Can you tell me how to disconnect the graphics card? I tried disconnecting a few coils and it turned on the screen but ran for a minute and then crashed.

                                          The bios chip must be unsoldered from the board before writing or reading..
                                          do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with,
                                          solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..

                                                  My Lenovo Legion Y540 (i7-9750H, RTX 2060) bricked after I downgraded from BHCN44WW to BHCN21WW.
                                                  Laptop stopped booting entirely.

                                                  I used a CH341A programmer to dump the corrupted 16MB BIOS.
                                                  i then attempted the following:
                                                  1. Downloaded stock BIOS BHCN39WW from Lenovo
                                                  2. Trimmed it to 16MB
                                                  3. Extracted the BIOS region from the corrupted dump
                                                  4. Extracted the BIOS region from the stock 39WW
                                                  5. Replaced the corrupted BIOS region with the stock one (within hxd , opened the corrupted dump and replaced its region by the stock)
                                                  6. Injected back my LDGB / DMI

                                                  Laptop was powered off during BIOS update. Laptop turns on, keyboards lights up, and then just beeps over and over into infinity until powered off.

                                                  Attached is the BIOS dump from the laptop and the latest BIOS update from Lenovo.

                                                  I searched and I don't believe this particular bios has been posted. I attempted to the follow directions
                                                  on the BIOS guides page but I am brand new to this and the update file doesn't seem to match
                                                  the bios dump in size so I am at a loss on what to do to...

                                                  my bios has been corrupted and i am in need of fix.
                                                  i used CH341a programmer to read the contents and followed the steps in YouTube to build bios.bin
                                                  while doing so in one of the step in UEFI tool - bios region, i found its empty i.e (half 00 and rest FF)

                                                  can you help me fixing my laptop bios ? my laptop model is Legion 7-15IMHg05 (Lenovo) - Type 81YU (RTX2080 Super model) and last known bios (E9CN66WW)

                                                  p.s i have also uploaded the bios i extracted using my CH341a programmer if it helps

                                                  My pc updated bios through Windows Update and I was greeted with BLACK SCREEN WITH CPU FAN MAX SPEED. I don't think there is even a screen signal, because it triggers my monitor for a couple seconds and then the monitor turns off. I tried the other outputs as well.
                                                  1. I tried clearing bios, resetting bios, removed the CMOS battery, removed m.2 ssd, wifi, and ram. Still black screen with CPU fan blasting.
                                                  2. I tried using the Lenovo BIOS CD and BIOS USB, but neither worked. At least I couldn't get anything to work.
                                                  3. I could only locate two chips that look like bios chips. Could someone verify this

                                                  Hello everyone,
                                                  I need help with my Lenovo Legion laptop. It turns on for a few seconds and then immediately shuts down. I believe this is a BIOS corruption issue.
                                                  Laptop Model:
                                                  • Model: Lenovo Legion Slim 5 16APH8
                                                  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070
                                                  • Main BIOS chip size: 32MB
                                                  • VBIOS chip size: 16MB
                                                  Problem Description: The laptop was working perfectly. Now, when I press the power button, the keyboard lights up and the laptop powers on for just a few seconds, then it shuts itself off completely. After researching, I am convinced it's a corrupt BIOS.
