hey, does anybody have a solution for this model? rading the whole thread, it seems like nobody succeded in removing the security. i tried with the factory mode script, password still there.

I noticed there's a lot of unlock request for this model HP Elite x360 1040 14 inch G10 2-in-1
The patch won't work if the bios version is latest. use this bin flash both it won't work if you only flash the main you should Flash Both.
first boot press f10 apply factory defaults and restart, 2nd boot reset security settings to defaults and exit.
use BCU and put your original DMI.
