    Legion Pro 7 16IRX8H - Type 82WQ

    S/N: PF4KFVQS

Laptop doesn't boot, black screen. I merged both files and did a clean ME but didn't solve the problem. It seems the problem is in bios region but I don't know how to extract it from bios update, image extracted is 26,8MB and merged image is 25,2MB. So please guide me how to extract bios region from update image.
Attached both bios dumps, extracted image and merged image. Thank you.

I was able to extract image from update (I used 7zip), as I wrote above. My problem is how to extract Bios Region from extracted image.

        Find _" Biosimg "

        DMI_ "LENV"

        Extract by 7zip ok.

ok, so for others with same problem:
            1. download bios update from lenovo site for your model.
            2. extract with 7zip bios image ( it has .fd extension, in my case WinKWCN38WW.fd)
            3. drag extracted bios image into MEAnalyzer and see what CSME FIT you have to use - in my case 16.1 - note that ME is already "Configured" so no need to clean ME)
            4. Decompose extracted image with MFIT 16.1 (drag .fd file into mfit, it will not recognize it if you choose "Decompose an image" unless you change .fd into .bin)
            5. after decomposing image hit "Build" tab, MFIT will split image into 2 files needed to be written into bios chipsets.
            6. open 16Mb file and transfer DMI from dump (search for LENV in dump, in my case from 20C000 to 20DFFF) - if you don't transfer DMI laptop will be stuck to recovery ROM(see photo)
            7. write bios chipsets
            8. PUT BACK COVER - for tamper switch, otherwise laptop won't boot - i still didn't figure out where is tamper switch.
            9. Enjoy!

it should work for Legion pro 5, pro 7 and Legion Y9000P (Intel).

Great job .The older FIT versions used to say in the flash settings how the each was split but with MFIT16 it doesn`t.You can still find out with UEFITool by looking for the start address of the bios region.

thank you. Another funny thing, when I merged files using copy /b 16mb+8mb (full.bin in photo) I got errors in MFIT about Bios region must have a binary buffer. Using copy /b 8mb+16mb (all.bin in photo) it didn't show any errors.
