The file isn't complete, I think you should have another 4MB Chip, search for it on the Motherboard (both sides) and upload it's content here.

Hello

I've got a T440P that beeps five times upon booting, the screen stays black as well. I've dumped the BIOS and cleaned the ME region according to the instructions, but the issue stays the same. Another thing that confuses me is that the CPU and RAM gets warm, so it seems that something is actually happening.

The mainboard I'm using is a replacement so I can only give you the values of the decoded data matrices on the stickers:
S/N: 28D24459A3F9
Type: VILT2 NM-A131

I'm attaching my BIOS dumps as well as the output file from Flash Image Tool.


Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone
I have a Lenovo T440P
Type "20aw"
s/n: "PB-00CT1Z" ....as shown on the sticker under the battery
with "VILT2 NM-A131 rev1.0" motherboard
When I start this notebook, 3 LEDs light up and it makes 5 short beeps and no video image on the screen
I assume that it is a matter of bios which I will promptly attach to you
Please can someone help me check if it is corrupt and fix it

I'd like try a repair by flashing it a new BIOS using a CH341A.

• Model type: 20AW-0006SP
• Bios version : ??? (because I´m not able to boot it)

Is it possible to get a working / recovey bios file to flash with my CH341A? I´ve tried to extract bios file from "gluj44us.exe" with some guides from the internet...but it does not work 😳

I asked you for the contents of the chip..

The bios chip must be unsoldered from the board before writing or reading..
do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with,
solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..

of my T440p with Ask Programmer. Should I also make a backup of the
other bios chip (U113) an post it here ?
