• Thanks Br for the quick response

I'll send you the bios with a photo
I have two CMOS
1- W25Q80 = 1,024 Kb
I will also post the file obtained from the MX25L256= 32.768Kb

I assume that after your observation that the Bios is in the Mx...I don't understand the function of the W25.
In any case, I'll also send you some photos
Thanks for the help...

• bios needed for MSI Modern 15A11M-217xit

Hello everyone
I have a Msi modern notebook 15A11M-217XIT-GG51135U8GXXDXX
S/N:K2104N0063855 with mainb ms-15521 rev 1.0....that doesn't start, no LEDs on, black screen.
I'll start by saying that I don't have the wiring diagram or even a boardview. I can't find it online. I tried to test some voltage in the mainb and found that there are 3.0/3.3 volts and 5 volts. No short found in all pcb
so I think it has a BIOS problem
I'll post the bios obtained

started a topic Acer TM8572

Acer TM8572

Hi everyone, I need help.
I have an Acer Tm8572 series, to be precise Tm8573tg-434g64mnkk
installed bios version 1.27
the notebook now doesn't turn on, but before reaching this point I had problems turning it on, sometimes after pressing the button it would load the Acer logo and then it would turn off.
I opened and replaced the CMOS battery and from that moment on it no longer showed any signs of life...I got the bios from the CMOS (W25Q16) which I placed...but when I read the EC it tells me it's empty no file read (MIXC25L1606E i /o Nuvoton NPCE781LA0DX )
mainb...

Hi everyone
I have a Lenovo T440P
Type "20aw"
s/n: "PB-00CT1Z" ....as shown on the sticker under the battery
with "VILT2 NM-A131 rev1.0" motherboard
When I start this notebook, 3 LEDs light up and it makes 5 short beeps and no video image on the screen
I assume that it is a matter of bios which I will promptly attach to you
Please can someone help me check if it is corrupt and fix it
Thank you...

replied to ASUS K501UX REV 2.0 BIOS
Hi everyone
I replaced the mainb of my Asus k501ux with a new one and in the bios under serial number there is clearly no serial number listed ... how do I enter the serial number of my machine in the bios
... I know that there are software for HP models that allow you to migrate the machine's data by inserting them into the bios
...can someone please give me an input if there are programs also for the Megatrends bios that allow you to write the machine's construction data into the bios?
Thank you

Hi....I removed Pr119 from mainb, in diode mode I measured at pin 1=2.4637
pin2= no measurement detected,...

with the photo sent I re-measured pq103 and pq105 and they respect the indications you have shown me
only measure detectable black tip on "D" and the red one on "S" 0.55 ohm

Thank you...

1.....pin1-2 = 0.0029
2....I can't confirm they are wrong .seee point 1
3.....CMSRC ACDRV = 359 Kohm
4.....0,5556 ohm

the pcb tracks are all intact from the pu101 up to the pq103-105

measurements performed with pr107 and pq107 unsoldered from the pcb...

• Re: Acer A315-22 no power on

Hi, over the weekend I took the liberty of measuring all the voltages of the Pu101 as suggested by @Prustel.. hoping that the values I post can be of help in understanding a possible solution.
I state that the measurements are performed with "pr107 and Pq107" unsoldered from the mainb and without battery (obviously discharged):
pin1=1,3mV
pin2=1,3mV
pin3=20nV
pin4=22mV
pin5=11mV
pin6=2,75V
pin7=2mV
pin8=8mV
pin9=80mV
pin10=0V
pin11=10mV...

resistance between pin1 and 2 = 0.02 ohm
red wire Pin1 ->black on gnd = open.
black wire Pin1-> red wire gnd = 330ohm

red wire pin2 -> black wire gnd = open
black wire pin2 -> red wire gng =305 ohm

pin 28 ...19.65volt
pin 3 .... 4 m volt (millivolts)
pin24 ....6.05volt
pin5 .. 13mvolt (millivolts)

p.s.: pr107 e pq107 unsoldered...battery disconnected

• Re: Acer A315-22 no power on

i unsoldered pq107 ...and i measured "ACDET" now i have 2.75volt
but in pin4 (ACDRV) of PU101 I still have 0 volts.
1-is it possible to argue that the PQ107 does not work properly?
2-if I reweld the PR107 can I make other measurements?
3- do you recommend replacing PQ107?

the measurements with the components still soldered on the board are:
Pr108= 260k
pr118= 53k
I measured the continuity between pr108 and pin6 of the pu101 and it's ok.
also at pin 1 of the pq107 I have 6.60 volts and at pin 3 of the pq107 I have 0 volts

• Re: Acer A315-22 no power on

I update the post with the diagram of my mainboard, in summary I checked the Pq103 and Pq105 as described above by measuring about 315 ohms towards ground com
I unsoldered the Pr107 but from pin 4 of the Pu101 I don't see the approximately 25 volts suggested by @mon2
while in Vcc input of Pu101 I detect the 19,..( pin 28)
I'm also checking the "ACDET" line which according to the diagram should find 2.4 volts but I don't measure them, the line is 0 volts.
Can someone please give me some more input? Thank you

Hi, I unsoldered pr107 placed at the output of pin 4 of the PU101 .... I applied voltage to the 19 v input, I measured the voltage of pin 4 (ACDRV) and no voltage is detected by the tester
any other suggestions?

• Re: Acer A315-22 no power on

Hi @lun2 ...I carried out the measures you suggested in the following ways:
- with the resistance still soldered on the board, the red lead of the tester to the Gnd of the board and the black lead on the Drain of the Pq105 I measure 315ohm if I reverse the leads of the tester (red to Drain Pq105 and black to GND)
I don't measure any resistance
--I unsoldered the resistance and performed the measurements in the same way: the resistance is now 470ohm
and the other no measure
at this point, as suggested, I gave power to the...
