    BIOS wanted for Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 15.6 A10-6050A3132901-MB-A01
    There is no image on screen and external hdmi, fans are spinning, board is clean. Measurements are ok

          Maybe there was my mistake with board name, correct one is A10-6050A3132901-MB-A01(A1)

              It's a Virgin BIOS so it should works fine if your Problem was related to BIOS.

              See if the device information on the Laptop cover are the same as these info or not?

                  The only info I can get from sticker is:
                  181501-AR
                  CMIIT ID: 2018AP1953

                  I believe it's Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 15.6, Intel Core i5, GTX 1050 Max-Q 4GB 181501-AD

                  I flashed back original bios and all is good (as before). It seems like corrected bios does not match my hw

                      Motherboard model number: Unknown, but picture attached. Manufacturer signature probably beneath heat sink assembly or on the backside. I read somewhere they manufacture at Foxconn. I am reluctant to remove the heat sink because I don't have any manual and thus can not be sure to have the correct tools and replacement parts.

                      Hope this is the right place, someone can help me.
                      My laptop started having a really strange problem....
                      When I turn it on the fans start working at a crazy rate and with random breaks...
                      They can work for say 10 seconds and stop for 2 seconds and then turn on again for 5 etc...
                      And it's from 0 to 100%. I tried to install AIDA and did the processor chip test and the graphics did not exceed 70 degrees and the fans were not even close to working at the power they work randomly.

                      Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

                      Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

                      Hello,

                      I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
                      So I thought it was a Bios problem.
                      I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....
