    Acer a315-55g-73n7

Not even a total dead LED lights up, the customer says he sparked the power supply in the power jack which I found broken, in fact I power it with soldered cables on main, replaced the power jack input diode which was broken. Mod. mb DA0ZAWMB8E0 rev.E
    Thank you

Need voltage checks. See attached. Post the measurement of each test point.

Meter in DC volts (20V or higher scale) -> attach your power adapter.

Measure the voltage to ground of each test point.

On pq1 and only on pin 1 19v on the remaining pins of pq1 0v and 0v also on all the other indicated points (2/3/4 etc) Thanks

Can you measure the voltages on pin #28 of the charger IC? This is the power pin on the charger IC.

Confirm again that REGN pin #24 on the charger IC is 0 volts?

After the above checks, remove all power. Meter in resistance mode.

Check the resistance to ground of the REGN pin on the charger IC.

          I found on 28 19v, on other pins: 5 variable value from 0 to 3v on 6 2.55v on 24 6v

Power down. Remove the 4k resistor on the ACDRV pin. Do not lose this part.

Power up again. Then carefully measure the voltage to ground on the ACDRV pin.

What is the voltage? It should be ~25v.

How did you reset the bios? Reflashed it or the laptop boots to the BIOS screen?

Review the attached. With extreme care, with the power adapter connected -> measure the voltage to ground of each highlighted pin.

                    Post each measurement.

                      (PU1) Measurement:

                      pin 3 CMSRC =19,1v
                      pin 4 ACDRV =24,9v
                      pin 28 VCC =18,9v
                      pin 6 ACDET =2,6v
                      pin 1 ACN =19,1v
                      pin 2 ACP =19,1v
                      pin 24 REGN =6v

These are all good voltage measurements in the shared list.

Since mosfet biasing is correct at voltage input and 19V is flowing thru the mb, next step is to check whether you have 3V & 5V on coil and status of 3V LDO.If all is well till here, then check powerbutton has 3V or not and if its present, does de-bounce logic works i.e, 3v goes to zero when power button is pressed and comes back to 3V.

You should make backup of your main bios and flash with a clean me version.

I connected the power to motherboard and to pin n° 1 of fan connector and there isn't 5 volts.
                              The trace is attached.

Locate the PWM for 3V and tell us the top markings on it. We can tell you the pin number where you need to measure.
