    Medion akoya E6424 with no signs of life

    Hey Folks,

    I have a Medion akoya E6424 MD99850 wich has no signs of life. This came from one on the other day. When I hit the powerbutton, it does exactly - nothing. No LEDs, no Fan, no Screen... The only thing is the charging LED shows up when the charger is plugged in. The charging LED shows up since i've took all the Batteries out (incl. the BIOS battery), wait for a while and put it all back.

    This is why my idea was, eventually the BIOS is corrupt. What do you think? Is there any chance that it is? And here's the next thing, i can't find a BIOS dump for it, theres even no BIOS update file on the manufacture site. Can anyone help?

      you should do some measurements first. check the voltages on the big gray coils and post them here.
