    hi!
i need some advice about my legion. in short, i was replacing the screen with battery on. failed to make it work. looks like lack of backlight or something, i checked on three different screens, different cables, same results. Laptop works fine on hdmi, nothing is wrong with it except this screen issue.
how about bios reprograming.. could that help?
im convinced its something with ec chip... but im not sure how to check it
i have some tools but not that much knowledge ) but if u'll guide me im sure i can follow. help please!!

Can you see the graphics with a flashlight on the front of the display(s) you have tested?

If yes, then it is a backlight fault. If not, some other fault.

        1) NEVER work with the logic board with power (adapter or battery) unless under a controlled environment where there is a need to monitor the voltage rails / test points.

        2) With care, see attached and locate the eDP (display panel) fuse. This fuse is linked to your backlight. BOTH sides of the fuse should be ~20V - confirm it.

It is very possible that this fuse is blown and not passing the backlight LED voltage to the display so the display is now dark.

If not sure of the fuse on the logic board -> post clear pics of the display connector area of the PCB for a review.

if the fuse is good, check bklt_enable circuit. especially kbc and connector region.
