HP EliteBook 1030 g2 Wacom Device error

Hi Everyone, I have this HP EliteBook X360 1030 g2 with the Wacom device not installing. Because of this, the Fingerprint, Touchscreen and webcam/Face ID devices are not working as well.

If it is a hardware fault, which area on the motherboard should I focus on? There is no boardview or schematic so far.

I have attached some pictures of the error it gives. I need help in solving this problem. Thanks

These appear to be standard device driver installation faults.

Go to the HP website and download the latest bios - that is the recommended first step.

Then install the latest support chipset driver packages for this model and see if the issue is resolved.

Found this driver which may be current:

When I run into weird driver issues like that on a HP, I use the HP Cloud Recovery tool (for consumer PC's) to create a USB installer. These usually have all the drivers etc for that model and configure the lot for you. If you still have an issue after that, then it's generally a hardware problem.

I normally create the USB on the machine itself, as it's auto identfied by the tool. You'll need a 32GB USB stick for it to work.

          Thanks for this info.

However, the latest BIOS update has already been installed. Also, the touchscreen doesn't work in the BIOS setup. Integrated Camera (Webcam) not detected in BIOS as well.

I've attached a picture comparison between my laptop's BIOS setup with a fully functional one

Thanks. This is good info too.

I think it may be a hardware fault which is also why I need help in locating the Wacom device on the motherboard so I can examine it in case there's something wrong with it or around it.
