I want to make a backup firmware from the board KB9028Q EC but I dont have the pinouts for the keyboard connector. Does anyone knows the keyboard connector pinouts for this laptop model

Usually there is more written on the board to identify it and to compare with existing programming layouts. Can you share pictures of the board with all peripherals like heatsink, tapes, WLAN card, and so on removed, both sides?

I already read that post but its different. It should be easier if the chip package is larger as in KB9028Q type, but mine is the smaller package type (KB9028G).

Due to lack of schematics and datasheets, I removed the chip which is the KB9028G package and traced the lines manually, and to my surprise none of the ISP lines goes to the keyboard socket. There is another connector which I assume is for ISP programming but the socket is not soldered, and the lines for programming the KB9028G chip goes to this socket. I will work on this slowly until I figured out how to do it.

Do you know anything about this type of board?
