Help with BIOS KBC EC Alienware r3 17" i7 6th

Hi. I really have been struggling with this laptop for a while. I had perfectly working laptop and I decided I will use it to play with freshly purchased SVOD4 programmer (What an idiot...). I did backup of all my chips UE2, UT2, UT5, UV10 BIOS and KBC. After my first attempt with the KBC I flashed it with downloaded EC just to find out it didn't pass the verification stage. First I thought it doesn't write properly to the chip, but now I think i does write to the chip, but for some strange reason is unable to read it back, it stops at the address of 0001000. So the backup I took originally from my KBC is corrupted. I have played with downloaded BIOS and EC even tried to do a clean ME Region. I get all kind of different results from completely dead board no power on no fans nothing, through - fans spins but blank screen, to - seems to work fine but during system loading get bunch of blue screens complaining about certificates and not being able to boot windows installation from the USB. I really need a help with that one.

Alienware Aurora R15 accidentally flashed with XPS 8960 BIOS
    by drux
    Hi,
I've had an ssd that was previously used on dell xps 8960 and then it was installed in Alienware Aurora R15(intel version). On first windows boot in R15 windows started bios update and loaded bios for xps 8960(r15 and xps8960 essentially have same motherboards).

Now it has xps 8960 bios that looks different from alienware bios and when I'm trying to run bios update files for R15, I get unsupported platform error.

    These models have AMI/Aptio BIOS.

Tried to edit product info with DMI Edit to change values back to Alienware R15, but it does not want...

Alienware 13R3 bios mod request - to disable dedicated graphics (dgpu failure)
    by Mr.Ultimate
Hi everyone, hope to get someone to help and modify bios rom for me.
I need to disable dedicated nvidia graphics chip permanently.

GPU chip had failed(cracked silicon DIE) and I can only use laptop without failing if I disable nvidia graphics in dev manager (but it still draws power from battery and generates thermal signature.

Ideally if it was disabled from bios at preboot.

I believe it is possible, because if I attatch external alienware graphics amplifier , laptop at boot will disable dedicated graphics #1 (failed one) and will only boot with AGA...

How do I flash bios to an Alienware M16 R1 AMD edition?
    by Arc717
I am trying to downgrade my bios on my Alienware so I can undervolt & overclock my CPU, and overclock my ram. I need to get to bios 1.2.2 for this. Dell doesn't allow downgrades, and their bios file is an exe compiled in c++, so I can't decompile it easily. I am wondering if I can flash the bios manually using a usb flasher. I would like to know if this is possible, and if so, where the bios chip would be. I know flashers are pretty cheap and the bios chip is 8-pin. There are two of these chips only when I open the back panel of the laptop. I'm not sure if there are any on the other side of...

novice user attempting first BIOS write on ASUS laptop
    by alphabetty
    Hello first post!

Ok so after an (ASUSTek) optional Windows update, my old ASUS E403NA laptop rebooted and froze in the BIOS menu screen and was unresponsive so after about 30 mins I powered off and back on again. Now i just get a power LED and a black screen, I have tried all the basic suggestions and all the suggestions on the ASUS site, spoke to ASUS support who said I will need to pay for an RMA.

The laptop is worth €50 so I won't be doing the RMA at god knows what price.

So I have seen some videos where people have reprogrammed the BIOS...
