Acer SF314-52 charging

Hey guys,
I got problem with Acer SF314-52. Problem is that laptop wont charge battery, I did put new battery which was on about 60%, and laptop was plugged all the time and battery went to 1%. Laptop is normally working on charger.
I did try to replace first two mosfets --> same problem
I did try to replace BQ chip --> same problem

I measure that on coil next to the battery connector (which is connected with + of connector) I got about 3,5V.

I don't have idea anymore, what is next to check?

1) is the battery pack detected ?

2) what is the voltage of +BAT_CON with the battery & adapter connected ?

3) Remove all power. Meter in DC volts scale. Measure the voltage of +BAT_CON (without adapter connected).

I measure that on coil next to the battery connector (which is connected with + of connector) I got about 3,5V.

Is the reading of the coil L8800, pin # 2 ?

What is the reading in volts ?

4) Also measure the voltage @ AC_BAT_SYS with the battery only connected.

1.) yea battery pack is detected

2.) +batt con with ac adapter plugged in is same as without ac adapter. (it is battery voltage, I did try with serveral batteries, and did try all of that batteries in other Acer and they all work normally)

3.) yea on coil L8800 I got 3V with battery disconnected and charger plugged in.

4.) bat_sys with just battery 15.08V and with charger connected is jumping from 15.08V to 19.67V every second

This is ok since you do not have a battery connected so no job to do..

1) Attach the battery and the adapter. What is the voltage @ L8800, pin # 2?

2) Your battery is showing a voltage ~15.08V which is ok.

3) Remove all power (no battery) -> meter in resistance mode.

Check the status of the battery mosfet @ Q8802 as follows:

source (1-2-3) & drain (5-6-7-8)
source (1-2-3) & gate (4)
gate (4) & drain (5-6-7-8)

Post your measurements and the meter scale used for each. If you see '1' on the meter, switch to the next higher resistance scale.

We are checking for a low resistance which often means the mosfet is defective.

What is the platform name?? DC in fets Gate voltage??

Post your measurements and the meter scale used for each. If you see '1' on the meter, switch to the next higher resistance scale.

source (1-2-3) & gate (4) 5,9M Ohm
gate (4) & drain (5-6-7-8) no reading (did try 100 times)


Try to replace it or that's normal?
