Re: Lenovo L580 not posting
Hi,
what would be the next step to find Short to Ground at L480?
I have +5VALW but +3VALW ist 0V.
I removed PJ202 and get +3VALW at PL201.
Beyond PJ202 i have a short to Ground (about 0 Ohms with Fluke 179 in Diode Mode)...
Should i inject 1V 1Amp at PJ202 and see what getting hot?
The USB-C Port has a very bad connector, i need to wiggle a bit with the Connector ...
Thanks
Jürgen

Re: Lenovo L580 not posting
@juergenb, yes you can do so and gradually increse the amps if nothing heats up. However, you should open a new thread as the OP may get confused with 2 different problems being discussed under one thread.
