I have an extremely weird problem I'm trying to diagnose on a MSI GF65 Thin 9sexr Laptop (motherboard ms-16w1).
The graphics card on the laptop RTX2060 is not detected on a cold boot.
If I turn the laptop off and then on again, it's there and works 100% for hours. I can even restart the laptop and as long as the laptop remains fairly warm, it will work.
Definitely a hardware problem as I've tried all software fixes and bios re-flashing (bios, firmware and vbios.
When the GPU does not work, the power to the GPU core it not present.
I think it's a voltage regulator or a resister that starts working to spec when it's a bit warm. Need to trace where is the power is coming from/missing.
Any help will be appreciated.
Boardview and/or schematic for ms-16w1 would be a massive help.
