    What if I disable PWRLIMIT# in laptop?

    Dear Forum Members,

    I have an Asus K43L laptop with water damage in the circuit that generates the PWRLIMIT# signal. PWRLIMIT# goes to EC and CPU/PCH.
    What is the operation of this signal?
    What harm will happen in the future if I disable this signal by connecting it to 5v?

    I attached a photo that contains the circuit that generates this signal.
