Hi, HP ProBook 450 G4, DA0X83MB6H0 REV:H, I5 7th gen.
The computer turns on, entering the bios ok, tests are ok, it will properly load linux from the usb memory, it will not install the operating system. At the time of installing the operating system on the disk, it freezes, stops responding to the keyboard and touchpad, only a hard shutdown off helps. I tried different bios, the difference is a blue screen instead of suspension. Blue screen with the message: "stop code: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR" . Now I think it's the fault of the hardware, the systems supplying energy to the processor or the processor itself.
I made measurements on the power lines, please verify the results, the results are influenced by the type of meter, the plate and the ambient temperature, but please verify that something is not much different from the norm. Looks ok to me.
While looking for information on the Internet, I noticed many cases of this fault in hp and the solution was to send to the service back to replace the disc, if I understood correctly.
But maybe I was not lucky and didn't find a good bios.
(sorry my english still from google)
regards
