    MacBook Pro A1297 820-2610-A short

Logic board does not turn on, no green light.
There is a short to ground (0 ohms) on C7565.
I have replaced the C7771 and after removing Q7565 the short still exists.
    I have injected 1V on C7565 and only 1.8 A is used.
I haven't noticed anything getting very hot.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi. Do not have access to the schematics at this time but if you do not have a green light then this means your magsafe is not working. The adapter communication must exist to power the logic board. Check the magsafe power in and the circuit that communicates over the one-wire interface. If this first rail is not powered, there will be no charger light. This area must work first before proceeding further on the logic board.

MacBook Pro 14" A2442 Short on PPBUS_AON but no short present when injecting voltage!
      by Stephen
I check PPBUS_AON and there is a short present on the line, the computer shows a short when testing for short to ground, so when I inject voltage into the line, I get 0AMPS so no short is showing up. I have replaced a blown cap on this board that exploded and tested for the short and it is now removed. Any suggestions? I tested voltage at the line when the fuses are connected and I am getting 1.2 Volts at the line.

macbook pro M1 a2338 no video on internal display PP3V3_S2 short
      by sdogs
Greetings to the entire forum, I ask you for help because I'm going crazy. A dear friend of mine gave me a macbook pro M1 A2338 that only works with an external screen. With the internal one, no backlight or image. Only the external display is detected from the system settings.
First I changed the display flat, then I made a backup with time machine and tried a reset in dfu but nothing to do, always the same problem.
I analyzed the logic board, it shows no sign of liquid or visible damage. I then moved on to examine the logic with the thermal camera and found that the UP701 chip was...

MacBook Pro 2018 with Activation Lock
      by envym
      Hi everyone!

I have a 2018 MacBook Pro (with Sequoia OS) that I've been using for years with no problem. I recently received an M2 MacBook Pro so I'm mostly using it and not the 2018 one, but since a friend of mine needs a computer, I thought I could restore my 2018 and give it brand-new-like to my friend.

I tried using the built-in tool to restore the MacBook (Settings > General > Transfer or restore > Delete) but it got stuck when trying to remove the Find Device configuration (it asked me for the password for my old Apple ID -now I use the same account but...
