Hi All., I have a ACER Aspire ONE AO751h (11.6"). All of a sudden the OS got corrupted & had to be restored back. I saw YouTube & Windows 10 could be restored easily. I tried to restore it with Windows 10 but at the Windows 10 logo screen it just freezes up. I re-programmed the BIOS chip first & still the same problem. Replaced with known good HDD, Memory & good CMOS battery, set all the BIOS setup values, still the same. Then I tried to restore with Windows XP (Originally comes with Windows XP), it boots up completely but when it says "Starting Windows XP" it just freezes on this screen & nothing much can be done rather than turning it off & re-starting the notebook again. I think it related to a hardware component., Can anyone help from where to start from? thanks for all the help.

Re: ACER Aspire ONE AO751h cannot load any OS
This is an old garbage Atom that doesn't even support 64-bit. No way it's gonna run Windows 10 properly.
Anyway I got one of these that only POST sometimes and freezes soon after. I suspect a failing SCH, but since this machine doesn't have any value (and mine has broken chassis&LCD on top of that) I didn't try to fix it.OpenBoardView — https://github.com/OpenBoardView/OpenBoardView

Re: ACER Aspire ONE AO751h cannot load any OS
Thanks for all the support... Yes this is a Windows XP machine & the motherboard is just $30, the reason why I am repairing it is because the notebook is kept so neat & with extreme care, one cannot even notice a scratch on it. This BIOS does not have the UEFI option, I too assumed it's a failing SCH as all the memory controls are coming from this chip & sometimes no display with a another memory module. Might as well I will purchase a new board which is cheaper than the costly SCH chip costing $60.
