Lenovo Ideapad 330 Onboard Memory Fail

Hi,
I have a Lenovo Ideapad 330. The onboard ram has failed on memory test.
Any help how to disable this and works only from the slot ram?

Board is DG52A NMB244

Schematic for A482 is same as B244?? Anyone can help you on that but without boardview its impossible to find the resistor which needs swapping/relocation. First post boardview , if you have one.

I've linked the boardview in schematic section. You can use NM-B241 schematic which is practically same as your mb. The ram config is given on Pg 8 of NM-B241 schematic. If you can understand do it yourself, else you need to specify the onboard ram detail -samsung,micron or hynix??

I read in memories k4a8g16. So it is samsung.
Can you help what to do next?

For onboard samsung memory shift RC1634 to RC1631 & Shift RC1635 to RC1632. The value of the resistor is same at 10K. So just needs shifting.

You can remove the onboard memory.

I have no screen again.
Memories are K4A8g165wc bctd and i removed them
I checked again in microscope and there is samsung indeed
So the procedure is ok

I want to mention that i had first time black screen when i reflowed the old memories.

@memoslar, seems like wrong diagnosis from the very beginning. If onboard ram was the issue, this would have been resolved. Your problem lies elsewhere. You have schematic+boardview. Check deeper.

Thank you for your answer my friend. I tested with memtest without the external ram and showed errors. Also the laptop was freezing at random times. It was for sure the internal memory.

Something happened from reflow on memories....????

Download bios update from lenovo site for your model and make a fresh bios out of it and flash it. If you dont know how to do that, ask for bios in bios section.

I have a Lenovo Ideapad 330-15IKB. The onboard ram has failed on memory test with Memtes86+. Any help how to disable this and works only from the slot ram? memoslar, how did you get it working again? did you disolder the onboard ram?
